i see what your saying dude, and I've seen the zeitgeist film too its hard to know how much of it is true, but the fact remains that the drug companies make millions off this drug, which is why there pushing it so much.
You've got to ask yourself if your taking it for the right reasons? and look up all the risks
My advice is find something you love doing, and put your whole heart into it, money usually follows, that way your not going to be stuck in a job that doesn't bring you satisfaction!

i disagree. If your priority is academics it can give you a lot of self confidence. Not just while your on it even weeks after.

nah i agree with umahuma because i was on this evil pill and it destoryed 5 years of my social life..i was a loser when before that and after that i was mr. cool and the ladies man..but on it sometimes i was depressed too and didnt even understand why

The so called 'miracle drug' ritalin kills your emotions, making you unable to feel, and makes you about as spontaneous as a rock.
The american government is encouraging the use of ritalin so that the american people will become brain dead workers, who will never rise up and question the system.
Please open your eyes.

i take ritalin, and im not some brain washed american, i watched the zeitgeist movie, i know what the government is doing to us, and personaly, i dont like it, but it makes me do better in school and helps maintin me grades, and my parents want me to get a scholarship soi can get into collage, and persaonly i want to get into college to and get a good job so im not some dumped down hobo on the streets, put i just hope ritalin hasnt killed my social life yet, because right now, its suckes.

It makes me spontaneous. That doesn't make me emotionless. I can express what I feel more spontaneously. That means that if you are a rebelious american, this drug will make you more outspoken and will help you take iniciative...
