Going vegan is excellent for the planet, your health, and the animals. There's no excuse for eating animals, but if you want to be selfish, at least demand free range meat.

No.1 reason to go vegan is stop animal cruelty. Its good it is also the best diet for the environment, and our health.

You can take vitamins, so there is no reason to eat meat. I have spoken to my Doctor and he told me if I eat many veggies and drink my vitamins my body will not need meat. I have been vegetarian for a year and two months and I'm enjoying every minute of it. I hope to go vegan soon, it is just a bit harder, since I love cheese. I will get there.

Actually I care about my body too, I exercise everyday and eat a balanced meal, I don't like eating too much meat, more vegetables is better, but meat is needed in the body to stay healthy. People tell me I look like as if i'm 18 but i'm 24.

Aminul, I'm glad your diet is working out for you (and about looking young, I've been told the same thing actually!). I am still willing to bet that cutting out meat will make you healthier. As long as you're eating a variety of food! PS: Increasing one's heartrate everyday is very important. Keep it up.

It is true that you can stay very healthy in the way that you do, but unfortunately, you are a rare turnout. Veganism is all-around healthier IF, and only IF you do it right.

Did you know that even plants have a life as well, they also cry. Ask any scientist and they will tell you. Everything in this world has a life, we don't be cruel to animals, I don't like cruelty to animals as well, like hunting. They kill the animal for not reason, sacrificing an animal is different, we all need to eat, I know we can eat veg but there are some essential vitamins needed by humans from meat. However, I respect your belief but I don't agree to it.
joshuak47 (Thursday 13th of November 2008 11:37:29 PM)
Aminul, I like your attitude (respectfully disagreeing). My feelings though, are that someone who thinks plants have a life should DEFINITELY be vegetarian. By growing cows, we are killing many more plants than if we were eating the plants directly.
