they're only kinda like sdre,but mainly vocalwise. i think they're guitar sound more resembles more the jimmy eat world,christie front drive,sense field,further seems forever(kinda). and envy,maybe,even though they don't fall into the catergories of japenese,screamo,emo violence or post-rock

haha yeah mineral is very similar to diary by sdre, after that album they changed quite a bit. sdre was STILL amazing, but they had a similar sound to mineral with diary. their later work (especially closer to the rising tide) was completely unparalleled by any other band. completely unique sound. sdre is so damn good! :D
