Who ever came up with the idea that the doctor world regenerate was a genius.

The best I remember from that long ago was The Two Doctors with the second doctor and companion Jamie as guest stars. This doctor should have had a longer chance (two seasons but only the first really counts), better writing and assitants that could help him through his adventures and himself (he was a bit intense) better.

He's not really mean, just up himself. He's arrogant, but his "meanness" here is just him suffering from a dodgy regeneration.

k. I was wondering where I can find episodes with him in it. I can't find old reruns anywhere and the internet video sites I know of only show new Who

She has a cute face too. Was she the only assistant on Dr Who with a North American Accent?

Always thought this regenration, along with Tom's, were great, shame McCoy into McCoy's (well it is isn't it lol) was so crap

Cheesy!!! Corny!!!! The effects, the set, the lighting, I don't care how old this clip is, it's still pretty awful! How did Dr. Who ever survive through this?

I don't remember Colin Baker's episodes being shown at ALL on my PBS stations. It seemed to quickly fade from view after The Five Doctors special aired. By 85 or 86 they'd dropped the show completely. After finishing the new episodes, I decided to go back and try to catch up on what I missed. Old FX aside, it's been difficult to watch at times. Colin Baker's doctor is just unpleasant, and Peri, though cute, is as wooden an actress as they come! Still, better than most TV these days! JMHO
