Western leaders have stepped up diplomatic efforts for a ceasefire between Russia and Georgia.
Meanwhile, Al Jazeera's Jonah Hull reports on how the ceasefire is being blinded by US support to Georgia and the advancement of Russian forces into the counrtry.

Rice should first visit hospitals in Iraq and Palestine. She should also visit the military hospitals in US where wounded american soldiers is laying becouse of her lies. Then she should be in prison. I cant understand that ppl is taking her seriously. Are ppl blind or what? Put Rice and Bush in Jail before US tells Russia what to do. This is just a double-standard!

Wow what a big suprise it is to find America nosing in on something that is no threat, and no buisness of theirs, maybe they should be go play Army Man in Iraq, the place were they caused the worlds problems, and let Europe handle the conflict.
Soon enough the US will drop Saakashvili and let the Russians simply remove him and it is entirely within Russia's right.
Saakashvili is a little child who is stamping his feet shouting at the US to give him what he wants. Couldn't the US find someone even more tempestuous?
