Were humans "meant" to eat animal products? Absolutely. Our ability to digest them gave us a survival advantage in times of starvation and famine. Is the consumption of animal proteins optimal over the long run in modern society? Nope. Not for our minds, not for our bodies, not for our planet, and definitely not for the animals. Do your research before you respond with a dumb comment. I could care less what horses and chimpanzees eat. Enough said.

Source? How are you measuring efficiency?

You know. A lot of people over look this fact. Carnivores can eat meat without cooking it, because they were MEANT to eat meat. Their bodies digest it quickly enough to not absorb any of the bacterias. Now YOU try eating a raw steak. See what happens.

How about YOU try eating a sack of grass and see what happens. Goodluck.
