WTF! Good music is good music people. Let the BS go and enjoy each time you are able to see stuff like this in person, cause it don't happen everyday. I love them all seen every band under the sun you can name and it is a joy each time and a new experience each time I go. Peace!

With all this bitching whining all I could do is weep. I love hearing people comment on things based souly on personal preference and not true music knowledge. Will Lee (the bassest) has played with countless musical legends, and for anyone who thinks your "King Phish Almighty" Trey has more technical prowess as Jimmy Vivino needs see all the REAL cats he played with and never had to go PHISHING. And I for one would never hit the snooze button on Jackson Browne.
mr beef, who's to say I wasn't listening to Jackson's fine slide guitarist, David Lindley, who's soul was afire before the birth of said Trey, snoozeman, from phish-snoozeland-boringville...anyone critical of the songwriting talent of jackson browne need be ignored actually
pretty much standard b-llsh-t pentatonic post-clapton simplicity from my vantage point, on the part of both players! Let Jeff Beck solo on this and you might see something creative
right you are. although trey was admirable on this song, WMGGW does not lend itself to jamming/shredding (but what George Harrison song really does?). I don't think that even Jeff Beck could do much more with this song's "jamming constraints".
It's not the scale, it's how you play it. And Trey's masterful bends and overall tonality sound pretty good to me. Sometimes a flurry of notes a la stunt guitar doesn't fit the tune. Listen to a Phish version of this song, very powerful; mainly due to the way attacks this gem.
who mentioned anything about shredding...beck would do quite the opposite...he would hold a note, squeeze some soul out of much fewer notes than most anyone I could imagine...I am sorry Trey fans, he is boring as all s--t on this cut, standard stock bends and phrasing...snoooze...zzzzzz...wake me up when he is done...

Says the Jackson Browne fan!! Haha. your opinion is null and void my friend, especially when it comes to judging what is 'boring' when your tastes include listening to the single most tedious songwriter of the past 30 years, Jackson (snoooooooooze) Browne.
