yes and no. a clean shot that kills the animal rather quickly has no effect. sometimes however, when the animal is wounded and does not die for a while and/or needs to be shot again, the meat does get a gamey taste as the result of all the adrenaline.

I'm not positive, but that looked like about as perfect a shot behind the shoulder as one can really imagine. Good shooting, especially on your first boar with a bow (at least, I think that's what you said...)

in hawaii we get hogs all over the islands stalking and tree stands aint shit the best way is to the run dogs and use knife. i bet the only time u white boys grab a boar is wen the fakas dead. gotta grow sum balls!!
