when the pilot declares an emergency gives thomson 253h as the call sign when its meant to be 263h!!! but other than that, thats professionalism for you!

Love that bit at 1.49 when the ATC corrects himself to say IF you need the emergency services rather than WHEN! :-)

If a fully loaded plane (passenger and fuel) looses all thrust one engine one second after V1 can it still take off safely?

Yep, they are designed to cope with only one engine if need be.

As a passenger, it must still be scary if you're finally on the ground, look out of the window, and see yourself surrounded by fire trucks.

same as the MK745 flight but the air mauritius pilots aboprted take off which resulted in a small fire.
