It's fucked up they killed him, but when you're in the game you trust no one, best friend or not. That's the rule, keep you enemies close and your friends closer, anybody will kill you for anything involving money these days. He just trusted his friends (while in the game) and it came back to bite him.

Most fucked up thing in The Wire. I understand killing for personal gain or to protect yourself from retribution and all that. But Wallace was their best friend. I'd take my chances with stringer and avon, rather than kill my best friend in cold blood. Fuck that. And if they came to kill me. So be it. At least go down with some honor intact. I liked Bodie, but this was a bitch move. He had more fear of Stringer, then love for his boy. Unforgivable. D'angelo had true heart.
