Uhh, I think he explains it pretty well in the intro. Little "Joey" (what baby kangaroos are called) has Santa return him to his Mommy.
Cute song and a classic for me even though I didn't grow up down under. Thanx for the clip! :D

more than 10 years ago i first head this song. mt gandparents had it on a tape from a night show in vancover that this guy did. this brings back a lot of memories. thanks for the upload.
