The translations offered above are all crap. Here's a better one: "A general was standing at my cradle, Said, 'He's a fine child; He'll be a man after my own heart: Maybe Governor of German Nepal.' I was born in the land of warriors*; Try very hard to be a hero, But the victories are a long time coming. Maybe the general was wrong." *This word sounds more like "Kriege" (wars) than "Krieger" (warriors) in the Wolf City version, but is "Krieger" in Utopia. Coughing etc. omitted.

I wonder why you asked in the first place. If you don't know German and if you don't read any slanderous commentary (which you seem not to have read at all), why assume that a song "on" Nepal might be anti-nepalese?
