There are two kinds of Ali G interviewees, those who get flustered/angry at him and those who just laugh and roll with it. I can't help but think of those in the first group as self-important assholes and those in the second as cool. I'm always afraid someone I like and respect will end up in the first group, so I'm glad Chomsky was gracious and good-natured here.
