Keep watching for some interesting video of running the 6000 through standing water. This video really highlights the wet weather performance of the 6000. Some very tough ammonia application conditions in a field that is quite literally only separated by a dyke from the Missouri River. The Dawn 6000 is doing a pretty nice job. This is in the very far NE corner of Kansas. Soil types ranged from sand to gumbo all in the same field. There was even standing water in some places. Customer is applying 170 lbs of actual N, running at 8 mph.The tractor is a Cat 55 which has been spaced out to 120" centers with row crop belts on it. The double ammonia tank is home made by the customer and is also on 120" centers. I really like this setup with everything on 120". These guys farm the river bottoms and they are trying to get set up to deal with the particular set of challenges. They are just using a basic ammonia cooler setup. They are using a 13 unit bar for a 12 row planter and are applying 1/2 rates on the ends of the bar.
