The Welsh countryside contains some of the most beautiful landscapes to be seen anywhere on earth. These images were captured during a walking tour along sections of Offa's Dyke, in both Southern and Northern Wales.

Well, the Welsh came from Spain and Portugal originally. I've only been through North Spain but love it, especially Galicia. Of course it rains in Wales more though, but yes most of Wales is very green and pretty.

Diolch Yn Fawr, Bron. Thank you so much for showing to the world the beauty that is the Principality and my home. Funny how ex-colonies look at their ancestry here and i, born and bred, look to a slice of my ancestry that is dutch ;) If you walked the Dyke then you may've come thro the town on the dyke which is my adopted home (born in the south) and i am privileged to enjoy a beautiful part of Lloegyr/England as well.
Best wishes from red kite country :0)
me again
meant to add that you mentioned llanthony priory(30secs) but just wanted to say that the other religious structure is Tintern Abbey (32 secs, 3:22,) on the Wye Valley between Monmouth and Chepstow. Anyway, ty once again :0)
