Not just Humanity, every lifeform in the Universe, war is impossible to get rid of if you get rid of aggression you get rid of the main things that drives us.

its in our nature...not to fight among ourselves, but to fight in general. why? to figure that question out would be to find the meaning of life....but until then, we have to find conflicts whether among ourselves or with others.

Well, we can stop war, but that would end humanity with it, as war was a central aspect of humanity from the very beginning, and continues to be to this very day.
Although, we can keep violence to a minimum. I've been in only one fight so far, but the feeling of hate was still pretty nasty.

the parties were clearly not innocent, but most of the people that did/do the physical fighting for these groups were/are innocent as far as whether they have/had killed another humanbeing or not (especially the redcoats, and confederacy). they were/are fighting for what they believed in which is wat we do when we attack them, is it not? dont get me wrong though, wars are sometimes necessary.
