Granted I haven't seen a lot of the anime dragonball z, I DO NOT Mean To Appear Rude And/Or Impolite In ANY Way., but goku was in plain sight, standing right in front of trunks, and I have no idea what you mean about frieza, frieza wasn't even in that clip, trunks tries to hit goku with his sword repeatedly but can not touch him. Anyway I do not want to start an argument.
