Amd : A car with just a engine with breaks, you need skills to drive it without getting smashed.

Theres really no reason to go with a AMD cpu right now. Intels Core architecture is just better than anything AMD can put out right now. Go Intel!!!

Desktop: Intel all the way.
Laptop: Low end, I rather have AMD Puma platform then Intel. ATi HD3200 IGP totally destroys Intel's X4500 IGP.
More expensive laptops with with dedicated graphics, I'd buy Intel.
