Remember boy that your forefather's died
Lost in millions for a country's pride
Never mention the trenches of Belgium
When they stopped fighting and they were one
A spirit stronger than war was at work that night
December 1914 cold, clear and bright
Countries' borders were right out of sight
They joined together and decided not to fight

All together now, all together now
All together now in no man's land (together)
All together now (all together), all together now (all together)
All together now (together, together)
In no man's land (together, together)
The same old story again
All those tears shed in vain
Nothing learnt and nothing gained

All together now, all together now
All together now in no man's land (together)
All together now (all together), all together now (all together)
All together now (together, together)
In no man's land (together, together)
The same old story again
All those tears shed in vain
Nothing learnt and nothing gained
Only hope remains

The boys had their say, they said no (all together now)
Stop the slaughter, let's go home
Let's go, let's go (all together now)
Let's go (all together now), let's go home
All together now (together, together)
In no man's land (together, together)
All together now (all together now), all together now (all together)
All together now (together, together)
In no man's land (together, together

yes it is about WW1, when england and germany stopped fighting in christmas 1914 and joined together in no mans land, some even say they played football together......... but im not to sure about that :) its a very good song. and the second verse is about both sides not learning from the kindness they displayed that night as they went back to fighting
Hove1000, Yes the SONG is about WW1 but the TUNE is a piece called 'Cannon in D'. It WAS written about 250 years ago and if you type 'Cannon in D' into the search bar and listen to the songs you will recognise the chord progression. So don't lose your temper and swear condescendingly because you do not in fact know everything in the whole world, chill and enjoy the music.

Englishrose7, you made me laugh. Its about WW1 and basically the futility of war , also reminding us that its the poor and working class that die for our leaders decisions. Fuck your 1640 shit "l know the original" music shit.
