Stark is right, but his approach is just as bad as the interviewer's

If anything, debt would have to be considered as negative wealth. To equate debt with wealth is about as dumb a statement as one can make, even for a pompous asshole politician.

I like Stark, but I think he is acting like an asshole here.

Really? The guy was at MIT and after serving in the Air Force and getting his MBA he started a fucking bank. People who don't understand economics will think this video show's Stark in a terrible light. People who aren't idiots get it.

Yes, really. He obviously believes all the economic fallacies that are taught at our "finest" institutions. It's not unusual.

so what? george bush graduated from yale. worked out pretty well for the country, didn't it?
NickTerry79 (Tuesday 11th of November 2008 08:13:22 PM)
Even though Pete Stark is much older now, this is evidence enough that Pete Stark has been in the Congress for far too long (since 1973). It's time the 13th District have someone represent them in the Congress that doesn't have a wild and insulting tongue like this man.
iceninja86 (Wednesday 5th of November 2008 03:48:34 PM)
Well at least Pete Stark didn't vote for the bailout.
