i'm a big lifelong red sox fan
but both red sox fans and yankees fans are the most spirited fans in major league baseball.
so for that, i give you guys credit :)
i think without the yankees being a red sox fan would be a lot more boring, and vice-versa.
what can i say? we love to hate each other :)

Injuries are part of the game- no excuse. Although we would have beaten Tampa Bay if Josh Beckett was healthy. Then there was the David Ortiz wrist injury, and the Mike Lowell hip injury, and the earlier Manny Ramirex knee injury- oh wait- that was fake. See you in 2009- the Sox and Yanks will RECLAIM the East! The heck with the Rays!

The Sox need a thumper behind Ortiz and another solid starter. The Yankees are going to load up. This will be an interesting season! Tampa will probably be a pain in the neck again as well.

think about it, i understand about the injuries... but the red sox have veteran players that might cause and injury fast and the rays might not get many injuries because their team is full of rookies and young people. i think that the rays might finish in the top 2 AL East in '09. I've been a huge fan of the rays since 2006 and knew that they hadnt finished above .500 and i got surprised when they killed the sox and yanks in '08
