Lawler has the upper hand, Roddy makes a comeback, Lawler pulls out a foreign object, Pat "The Brat" get involved and so on! In the independants, "The Brat" claims to be Roddy Piper's son. Listen to Gorilla Monsoon's comments at the end of this clip. It's kinda funny the day this p.p.v. happened to fall on!

Piper said the build up was good, but the matc it self was one of his worst. Even Lawler said they did not work wwll together. Lets face it they are both punch stacked wrestlers and stick two guys like that together never works . Both great wrestlers but too similar to each other for it to work.
Ironic that this was the time when WWE was pushing the "New Generation" (Shawn, Bret, Diesel, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman)...and they have a PPV main event with two guys who have like 40 years in the business between them...lol. Shitty match, but the crowd's into it--especially at the end. I guess that's all that counts?

It doesn't happen often. His most notable win was probably against Bret Hart at one of the In Your Houses when he was feuding with Hart for the 2nd time.
