yes, usualy the aircraft would stop if the reversers didn't deploy; the brakes, especialy on a long runway, when coupled with speedbrakes/spoilers are engough to stop it. and the wheels smoke because they are still, then suddenly speed up, = friction, = rubber burning, = smoke!

yea da wheels are ok smoking its because they are not spinning when touching the ground and maybe it might stop in time it deppends on weight, speed, and aircraft :P
