Cab ride in former Western Pacific F7 918-D on 12/2/07. 918 was used to pull the annual Niles Canyon Railway (PLA) Train of Lights on the eastbound run from Niles to Sunol, Ca. The video was shot as the sun was going down, so it does get pretty dark. The best part of this video is the sound, of course.
918 engine crew was engineer Jon Vlasak (WP alumni and was part of the 918 restoration crew) and brakeman Curt Hoppins.
