Just as an addition (I fully agree with you), beeing so much smarter than other creatures has allowed us to compensate for the lack of physical attributes. As an example, humans have the ability to live in both warm and cold, wet and dry places, not because we carry fur, use little water or some other bodily attribute (which would restrict us to a certain area) but beacuse we are able to manipulate things. For instance we can make clothes, light fires and store food and water for later use.

You are making predictions about what may or may not happen. We may survive another 10 million years, we may dissapear tommorow, no one knows. You are right that we aren't the fastest, strongest or toughest but we are the smartest...and that one advantage has propelled us to the top of the food chain. It is also no small victory. Our brains give us the ability to assign meaning to things and appreciate the beauty of this planet. Every other species just a part of nature. Continued...
