Can somebody PLEASE explain to me WHY Harry Reid is the Senate majority LEADER?
I'm not asking WHAT he stands for (left/right/center) or about the actual process of HOW he got the position (voted in by his fellow Democratic senators). I'm asking the question "WHY" because the man seems to have NO "political" (and communication) skills. Certainly there are other Democratic senators a lot more qualified to lead.
What the hell am I missing?

Every tax imposed in the Internal Revenue Code has three parts. (1)Identifies what is being taxed. (2) Rate of tax, and (3) Who is "LIABLE" for the tax imposed. Tobacco taxes, crude oil taxes, alcohol taxes, and "income taxes" all share these traits. You can visit the governments own web site and witness for yourselves this fact.
