Traditional Latin Catholic Mass: Easter Sunday

Back

Traditional Latin Mass filmed on Easter Sunday in 1941 at Our Lady of Sorrows church in Chicago. The film presents the ceremonies of the Missa Solemnis or Solemn High Mass in full detail with narration by then-Mgr. Fulton J. Sheen. Celebrated by Rev. J. R. Keane of the Order of Servites (hence the white habits and cowls), the ceremonies are accompanied by a full polyphonic choir, orchestra, and fifty Gregorian Chanters. The attention to detail in the ceremonies is impressive. Notice, for example, how the servers and ministers always take great care to move in order. Notice too that the servers are all almost identical in height. The Ordinary of the Mass, composed by Rev. Edwin V. Hoover, while pleasant in places, is very much a reflection of its time. The Proper on the other hand is timeless and sung admirably by a healthy throng of Seminarians from Mundelein, Illinois. Unfortunately due to size restrictions at Youtube around 20 mins have been cut from the original, however, I hope to upload a full version somewhere soon. In addition to the cuts I have added new captions and edited the opening credits which had deteriorated in the original. Other than this the film remains largely unchanged. Apologies for the error in the captions for the two parts of the Mass (software). The first part is of couse the Mass of the Catechumens, the second is the Mass of the Faithful.

St. Peter was a Jew and he was Black. All the Jews are Black. The current 'Jew-ISH' people in Israel are fake and phonies. They are Khazars who were converted to Judaism in 8th Century. They are NOT descendants of Jacob at all. Jesus and all his desciples were Black because when the Israel Kingdom was splitted in to two; Judah, Benjamin and Levi stayed in Jerusalem so they were all Black people. Judah = The Negroes in America Benjamin = Jamaicans Levi = Haitians (the Priests of Israel).

You are right, Jesus was a Jew. BUT the real Jews are BLACK. John saw Jesus Christ in Revelations and he described him as a Black man with woolly hair. 'His head & his hair was white like wool ( white = the colour of his hair, and woolly = the texture),... and his feet were like a fine brass (brown) as if they were burnt in a furnase ( what would happen when you burn a brass? It would be very dark). Read Revelations 1:13, So the white image of Jesus is the Antichrist tha deceived many.

The color of Jesus matters. 1. For TRUTH sake. We must worship God in Spirit and TRUTH. 2. Anyone who preaches another Jesus from what is described in the bible, then that is the Antichrist. So, Jesus was a Jew and the real Jews are BLACK. Whoever is portraying Jesus in other way is out of the bible. The White image of Jesus is the Antichrist that deceived the whole world. checkout my page for more info.

Marcgorit makes the Bible say what God never said. He is wrong. He never read the letters of St Paul. Religion is NOT a matter of race, and EVERYONE is called for the Salvation in Christ.

No, the more likely reason we never had a Black Pope was that the Catholic Church hadn't converted any countries with black people in them, not because the Church hates blacks (Gal 3:28). You might as well ask why St. Peter wasn't Japanese.

Note 1: It was NEVER the catholic religion that did anything bad, it was always the people was it not? i mean, look at Islam, the minority that kills claims "jihad" which means "to struggle for god" - do we call islam evil...or is it the people... Note 2: alot of people have already said this, but the church was against nazism. Note 3: The church is not racist...and you said no pope was black?...what about pope peter the 1st? he would have been an arab, being black...same as jesus...use ya brain

this is rubbish. The catholic religion has nothig to do with races
marcgorit (Saturday 3rd of January 2009 04:17:47 AM)
you said, 'The catholic religion has nothig to do with races' ------------ Is that why we NEVER had a Black Catholic Pope for 700yrs? laughing Is that why Catholic Church helped, coordinated and benefited a lot from Slavery for hundreds of years? You must be a very NAIVE person. Anyways, to come to the point. The white image of Jesus is the Antichrist that deceived the whole world. Anyone having that image is CURSED.
