I think you miss understood i am not promoting cdjs. I am talking about mixing in all forms. Dont you wont to be able to pull the track back to a much more basic layout eg Drums on one track bass on another vocals on another an so forth so you can actually recreate an original remixed version of the track live.

why would you get bored of mixing vinyl!? you can do all the same shit as cds if you have a good mixer, and the best bit is you dnt look like a fag cdj!

wow lol how can someone get bored of mixing vinyl, vinyls the way to go, its more hands on and so not sterile compared to the new stuff today. i love mixing vinyls and you have to have a certain amount of skill doing it. i have 1 cd deck, just the 1 and only for the fact that i cant get some songs on vinyl so i burn the songs i want onto cd. anyone can mix on cds, vinyl takes time and practice.

don't you get bored just mixing vinyl....It may be skillful but still you have no control over the playback of the song apart from maybe slightly different arrangements. Seems so sterile
