I think the year 1998 was one of his best ever. His genius of expression and technique has been completed. Listen how perfect is every single word pronounced not to mention sung. He is concentrated but so relaxed and effortless. And the last vincero with deliberate stress at the end after 13 seconds of..? His technique was mastery..and that passion..I hardly find words expressing how perfect he was..RIP maestro and thank you

Oh my....my heart still feels so heavy after his passing. Every time I hear this piece my eyes still fill with tears. "None shall sleep", "None shall sleep"; is how I felt after hearing the news. No performer will ever replace him.
