Hang on..Back up a second!? Water being released into space by NASA? Now forgive me if there is some plausible explanation that I did not know about. But try as I might I have not found anything online about the shuttle releasing water, let alone why.
Now why would NASA release a large amount of water into space?
Is it just a standard procedure for the shuttle Atlantis to release what it doesn't need in fluid or is it something more sinister like secret experiment we don't know about or weather manipulation?.. Warning or gift to the extraterrestrial? It may all sound crazy but isn't thousands of litres of water being released into space Crazy too considering the damage it could do in the universe. And I say could not will as I like everyone do not know 100% how the universe works. Most Astronomers know that when it comes to the universe nothing is certain. And I believe that to be true :-)

Now let not get inside the movies guys.C'mon serously,u rly believe that aliens r somewhere near us?I anticipate the fact about their existence,but come on,chances are that there r a lot of alien species,but let's not get in the middle of the universe.Compared to them,WE are not even bugs!So tell me,do u rly think that such an advanced race(witch can travel very fast through space,probably by disturbing time) wouldn't know what the hell does H2O mean?!?!Don't get full of urself,human race.
could be the shuttle firing maneuvering jets to reposition station,link up,could be the bathroom,water recycling system dumping,they have had a lot of problems,water related.

Of course the "aliens" wouldn't be interested in the Shuttle Atlantis, itself, only the stupid water it's dumping into space. These guys talking about aliens are just morons. It's called junk in orbit and sunlight, and there's a lot of both of those two things.

That is a myth, there is not a lot of debris in orbit or the shuttle woulnd even be able to sustain orbit. even the smallest pebble at 16 thousand miles per hour would tear through the entire space shuttle. dont by the bullcrap that there is a ton of stuff in orbit, because there is not.
