I onced bumped into Ivor Cutler on a bus in Kentish Town, London, and I assure you he was the real deal! There was something seriously 'out of kilter' about him; his view on the world was authentic and VERY peculiar - he gave me a load of stickers with things like 'funny smell' printed on them....

A good freind of mine had the honour of having this man as an art teacher. The freind in question is now well into his sixties, and was nicely influenced by Cutler. He certainly had a great outlook , and that rubbed off on his pupils .
