I hate the smug look on the face of the woman in pink. She's getting a kick out of all this, you can tell.
I really just wish the media would leave us alone, though. When it comes down to it, we're not that special or unique. I think it's cool that we supposedly came out and voted for Obama but aside from that we haven't done anything to report on (yet), so all they can do is generalize.
Whoever put this report together should be cut, saying we can't use knives and forks, "keep the tattoos covered up" kiss my ass!

I like this quote that I read once...
A 60-something graduate recently reflected: We wanted what they want. We just felt we couldnt ask. Herein lies the truth: what young workers want isnt so different from what everyone else wants. However, young workers are asking for it.
Hence, we pwn.
It should also be noted that people don't loose their memory after 20 years. Many business people and execs recall their dealings with young employees of other times and have noted a difference. There is a difference between the behavior patterns outlined in books of the early 90's addressing the new Gen X workers (Like Tulgan's classic) and the ones being noted now in Millenials.
Gen X and the baby boomers WERE selfish and lazy compared to past generations. The same is the case here except we are reaching critical mass. I don't know how a peek at television shows like "My Super Sweet Sixteen" could lead one to any other conclusion. Especially since all of the indulgence that this generation has come to expect is about to face a serious challenge from hard national economic times and outstanding personal and federal debt.
