Ike Pappas' remarkable live radio coverage from the basement of Dallas police headquarters on November 24, 1963, as Jack Ruby shoots and kills Presidential assassin Lee Harvey Oswald.
This as-it-is-happening footage comes from WNEW-Radio (New York).
The single gunshot from Ruby's snub-nosed Colt revolver and Oswald's double groan just after the shot struck his abdomen can be heard with distinct clarity on this audio recording.
