Perhaps he once was a Christian, or perhaps his parents are Christians. But he sure as hell knows more about Christianity than most "Christians."

There is an intellectual understanding of the law, and there's a spiritual understanding of the law. He definitely has the intellectual part down, but apparently never got it spiritually.
Are you saying you disagree with what he said? I believe everything he said came straight from the Bible. So if you believe what the Bible says, but don't want to listen to what this guy is saying, I think that amounts to pride.
Christians should be proud that they believe in laughable idiocy? They should be proud of trying to convince someone that Jesus walked on water?
Should they really be proud of being stupid and ignorant?

By reading the Bible and absorbing the teachings of Jesus. Anyone can pick up a Bible and notice the fact Jesus claims that none get to the Father except through him, it doesn't take a Christian to do that, just someone that is literate. Logically, those that do not come to Jesus would not make it to Heaven, which means they would go to Hell. This Atheist is right to rebuke people for fearing what others think.
BananaHurricane why are you taking the bible out of context Luke18:18-22 is a story about Jesus and a rich man. It is not Jesus telling everyone who reads the bible to do this it is Jesus telling a specific rich man to do this. If your going to put up bible verses at least be truthful about it.
He read the Bible. It's easier to see Christianity for what it is if you do not believe in it. Because people who believe will rationalize and explain away a lot of the rules in the Bible and only follow the ones that aren't too extreme. Jesus commands you to sell all of your belongings and give the money to the poor. Luke 18:18-22. How many so-called Christians do that? None that I can think of. You make up ways to not follow the rules you don't like. I'm an Atheist, and I can see it clearly.

Is this guy serious? He knows nothing of the bible or Jesus. He seems a bit patronizing to tell you the truth. How does someone that does not know Christ tell Christians how to be Christians? If you have not walked in this skin how could you be able to tell me what my life is and is not because of your misguided preconceived, naivity on a Way of Life you do not know how to live.

First off, send me a link to ONE of these magical cases of disappearing cancer. Second, if medical miracles happen sooooo often, why doesn't God heal amputees? It's a retorical question so don't bother with it. I can't convince you, and you can't convince me so lets not continue this. Surviving an accident can be considered luck- considering plenty of "good christians" die in such accidents. Disappearng cancer is somthing else though, so please do send me a link.
