Try this;
Neck Pickup, Tone control fully off, Full distortion, amp set as follows; bass = 8, middle = 7-8, treble at 4-5, a smidgen of reverb and there you go. Oh; don't forget the recreational herbs...

Joe Satriani (A great artist in his own right) should have been opening for Mountain. Oh well. I bet that was a kickass show :)

hands down the most underrated band ever. The reason they were not in the Woodstock movie is probably because they were not one of the typical hippie bands playing this festival.This is really hard music for the late 60's.

Mountain got shafted and didn't make it into the movie at the last minute. Mountain Woodstock video does appear on DVD's that are produced for DVD players zoned for Australia. The druumer at Woodstock was N.D. Smart, who was replaced right after Woodstock.
