NWA brought in Angle, Nash, Stinger, et al for three very simple reasons; 1) Asses in seats 2) More TV money 3) More merchandising money. Ok, so really, it was only one reason- Money.

I think sting is right, the only reason i watch TNA is because of wrestelers like sting and Kevin Nash if it wasnt for them i wouldnt even be watching it just like i stoped watching wwe after wrestelers like stone cold and mankind stoped fighting

Sting is almost right but he is wrong because some guys have respect but some dont and if he wants to talk about respect maybe he should respect some of the young guys. Also where was he when tna got started along with the rest of the Main Event Mafia.

Sting and Jeff Jarrett were in a company called World Wrestling All Stars before TNA was created. Then Jarrett started TNA, became the champion there, then went back to WWA and defeated Sting to unify the NWA and WWA world titles. WWA went out of business shortly after which was when Sting came over to TNA.Besides that, Sting was already wrestling for 15 years in NWA\WCW. Not any one out this new generation in TNA can claim that!

There must have been quite a gap between Sting in WWA, and Sting coming to TNA. I remember seeing pictures of him with gray short hair (he looked just like Bill Clinton) around the time TNA managed to sign him.
