Greeks of BC were all mainly part of the Dorian tribe but today the bloodline has changed due to a 1000 years of slavic and turkish interbreeding

lol yes the greeks did march under the armies of macedonia when philip united them
Macedonians of today and Greeks included are nothing but Slavs and Turks(ottoman empire rule)
ancient greeks PRE 1 AD were if anything most similar to the Romans.
Sorry but if your greek or macedonian i cant call you a pure greek
Boukephalos1 is right
My forefathers were Macedonians, I am Macedonians, my descendants will be Macedonians, and they will NOT be Greeks! Two different cultures. Let Greece take credit for Thermopali, but not for the distinct ethicity and culture of Macedonians. We are two different people. The way you and too many others talk about Macedonians is second only to the Nazis and their ways. Have Greeks ever eaten Zielnic? Have they worne our clothes? Now, have they marched in the armies of Alexander?

Wrong again fryomian. 5-600AD sorry for the typo. Real Macedonians are GREEK ONLY. ONLY GREEKS MY APPLY>you are wastingspaceandtime1234
I am half Macedonian. As in a slavic Macedonian. My people have been kicked about as a bunch of taxpayers who happen to come with the land for the last 2000 years. Now that is plenty of time for the invaders to rewrite history! There is only one kind of Macedonian, the Slavic Macedonians who have existed to the North of Greece for alot longer than just since 6 BC. It just took longer for the Bulgarians and Albanians to catch up. Macedonians had been there since well before Alexander or Philip.

Compared to your English, my English looks superior and quite frankly more intellectual.
Sorry but you failed but feel free to try another day.

For "Nobody remembers that anymore.
I wonder if they ever will..." You sure can do alot of talking about Alexander the Great, after saying that first remark. As for Macedonia being North of Greece, it begins in Thessalonkia and goes up to what is now called FYROM.Current Fyrom people are not Macedonians they are slavs, calling themselves Macedonian, in name only. Slavs didn't come into Northern Greece until the 5-6 B.C.E. bid. But you know that.
I think the problem was that his men would have needed alot more motivation to do any more.
Plus, they were loyal to ALEXANDER, not to any particular cause other than respect for their General and the rewards that would bring.
That's why it all fell appart after he died. Too bad.
