Exactly how I felt.. and I'm agnostic. My boyfriend, as an architecture student, seems to love Dubai for, well obviously its massive projects...
I just get a sick feeling in my stomach though...what will the coming years bring? (2008 seems to be a 'brink' year, 2009-2010 may be really telling on which way the world will head)

You fink dats posh? You should try blackpool. The shops dere are da most expensive in the whole of da norf West Englund. A 99 costs well over a quid there and postcards are almost 30p each! And dey aint even all dat. I bought a stick of rock dere once for 2 quid! Almost dint av enuff money left over to ride on dat beaver creek ride dat me and me mates go on. Still you pay for what you get tho innit?

this looks pretty amazing, my ONLY complaint is that they could have done a better job shaping the islands to look like the continents, everything but south america looks very misshapen
