It's disgraceful the way Palin, Guiliani and others behaved at the Republican convent. They tried to turn the words "Community Organizer" into a dirty word because Barack Obama was one years ago. As was said before some of our greatest heroes and leaders of our country were "Community Organizers!" Examples Martin Luther King jr, Susan B. Anthony and Cesar Chavez to name a few. There are everyday C.O's and heroes in many of our U.S. communities today. They are of all parties and faiths. (cont.)

The essence of a party is continuity! Republicans are desperate to continue ruining the country, they're trying to beguile Americans with McCain, like he's different! Obama leads, McCain follows-lately he has even started reading Barack's notes-talking CHANGE! Running away from themselves? They hid 2 of their most "embarrassing cousins" tied in the broom cupboard, away from the convention- Bush in the box- Cheney fled the country & they dangled their new extremist Palin like red meat to the GOP.

I could handle it when Kerry lost to Bush in 2004(just barely mind you), but I cannot handle it if Obama doesn't win the presidency this year. I cannot handle a McCain presidency. I don't want to keep going backwards. Obama is the best candidate the Democrats have had in years.

Obama is very composed and well spoken. But I also think that being composed and well-spoken comes naturally to him because he speaks the truth. He strongly believes in the policies that he preaches - and that is why I would trust him to be my president.
