This is crazy - my life is run by lawmakers' BAD and greedy decisions for corp America. Why? Why are we being held (almost the only ones) accountible to a BROKEN FINANCIAL SYSTEM? Start everyone's credit score over. Bive our kids and grandkids a frickin' chance! Cindy WA

Yes there is something like 9 major US Banks who are supposedly what is called the "Federal Reserve" and they need to be bailed out. So the US Treasury petitions the Federal Reserve to lend $700 Billion Dollars to lend back to the Banks that are actually the Federal Reserve in the first place. A Central Controlled Bank with the ability to create a fiat currency is totally unconstitutional. All of the money that you have and spend is nothing more than "Monopoly Money".

Our dollar has lost half it's against the Euro, hit an all time low against the Looney, and a 28 year low against the Pound since Bush took office. Our dollar was in the toilet and Bush just flushed it.

It looks like a nanny-state move to protect the livelihoods of American citizens... ...but I have a feeling that the government becoming a shareholder in the money-lending industry just the opportunistic creation of the "Stupidity Tax", where the Government will now fill its coffers from the huge interest payments made by millions of morons who borrowed $500,000 to buy a $100,000 house. If you can't beat the loan-sharks then join them.

Obama and McCain are the same. It's not to late to change your vote. They are both corporate puppets. Vote your conscience, not corporate.

this is nonsense and double talk. How can you regret something, yet say it's vital to pursure? contradiction in terms and they're just trying to prevent people from finally putting the Second Admendment to good ol' American use!!
