fish SAUCE. in case you didn't know, you use fish sauce in all thai dishes & that's what makes it good!!

Obviously, not only Pad Thai but all Thai food!!! If you have a visit to Thailand, never forget to tell the waiters/waitresses that not spicy please or you'd get heartburn --- !!! Tom-Yum-Goong in American is like a tasteless soup with shrimps compared to Tom-Yum-Goong in Thailand :P
