Six hundred people shed their clothes on a glacier in the Swiss Alps to bodily cry out for help against a planetary emergency: global warming.
The nude volunteers posed for us and renowned naked "installation" artist Spencer Tunick on the Aletsch Glacier.
Without clothes, the human body is vulnerable, exposed, its life or death at the whim of the elements. Global warming is stripping away our glaciers and leaving our entire planet vulnerable to extreme weather, floods, sea-level rise, global decreases in carrying capacity and agricultural production, fresh water shortages, disease and mass human dislocations.
If global warming continues at its current rate, most glaciers in Switzerland will completely disappear by 2080, leaving nothing but valleys and slopes strewn with rock debris.

Carbon tax will lead to taxing human beings for breathing and will lead to methane tax on farm animals for farting. It's the next step in slavery. The ambitions are good , i'd rather be completely "green" but i don't believe anything about the altruism of the "green revolution". They we're pushing the same agenda in the '70's but in those days they we're frightening people with an ice age... wich evolved to global warming of course and wich will revert to an ice age soon. by the way, there is evidence that Arctic ice was not an island at all this year. A section that was frozen over was cut by an ice breaker. That is the reason some think it was water all the way around it.
Only evironmental activists have said that artic ice was an island this year.

to say that arctic ice has never been an island before is inaccurate. If youll study youll find it has been an island in the 40's. And Arctic ice may have been entirely gone during the Medieval Warming Period.
Also the Northwest Passage has opened several times in the past.
